Natural Ways to remove Stretch Marks

Stretch marks, or striae, develop when your skin suddenly needs to stretch beyond the limits of its natural growth rate. The middle layer of your skin breaks in places, causing the lower layers of your skin to show through. "Active" stretch marks tend to be red or purple, fading toward silvery white over time, although colors will vary depending upon your skin tone.

Up to 90 percent of pregnant women develop stretch marks over the course of their pregnancies. Stretch marks may also develop when you hit a growth spurt as an adolescent, lose a lot of weight fast, or if you build muscle exceptionally quickly. Most medical professionals regard time as the best "treatment" for stretch marks. They will eventually fade and diminish in prominence. Active stretch marks may respond to a variety of treatments, but keep in mind that the effectiveness of any treatment may be limited.  Stretch marks are visible lines on the skin surface, with an off-color hue. Stretch marks are mainly found in the abdominal wall, but can also occur over the thighs, upper arms, buttocks and breasts.

Stretch marks can make you feel self-conscious and uncomfortable about your appearance, but you do not worry there are several natural treatment, simple simple home remedies which are easily available at home or in your local market.

Egg Whites, Eggs are a rich source of protein. For stretch marks, you want to use only the egg whites, which contain amino acids and proteins. Whip the whites of two eggs gently with a fork. Clean the affected skin area with water and then apply a thick layer of egg whites with a makeup brush. Allow the egg whites to dry completely and then rinse the area with cold water. Important thing never use hot water, else your skin will become very smelly and nasty.  Finally apply some olive oil on the skin to keep it moisturized. Repeat the process daily for at least two weeks and watch for positive results.

Lemon Juice, Another simple way to lessen stretch marks is to use lemon juice. Lemon juice is naturally acidic which helps heal and reduce stretch marks, acne, and other scars.  Rub fresh lemon juice gently onto the stretch marks using circular motions. Allow the lemon juice to soak into your skin for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.  Another option is to mix equal quantities of cucumber juice and lemon juice and apply the mixture on the stretch marks.

Aloe Vera, Aloe vera is effective in the treatment of many skin problems. Its healing and soothing properties can be used to get rid of stretch marks. There are a couple of ways to apply it.  You can directly rub aloe vera gel on the affected skin area, leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse the skin with lukewarm water. Another option is to make a mixture with one-fourth cup of aloe vera gel, oil from 10 vitamin E capsules and oil from five vitamin A capsules. Rub this mixture onto the skin until fully absorbed. Repeat this process daily.

Sugar, Natural white sugar is one of the best natural remedies to get rid of stretch marks. You can use the sugar to exfoliate your skin. Mix a tablespoon of raw sugar with some almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Mix it well and apply it on the stretch marks and other skin areas. Gently rub the mixture on the skin for a few minutes every day before taking a shower. Do this for a month or so and watch your stretch marks become lighter.  Soak in lemon juice. The acid in lemon juice helps reduce skin blemishes. Cut a lemon in half and gently rub a cut end over your stretch marks. Allow the juice to sit on your skin for up to 10 minutes before rinsing with water.

Potato Juice, Potato juice contains vitamins and minerals that foster growth and restoration of skin cells. Cut a medium-sized potato into thick slices.Take one of the potato pieces and rub it gently on the stretch marks for a few minutes. Make sure the starch from the potato covers the affected area.
Allow the potato juice to dry for some time and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Olive oil. Olive oil contains useful nutrients and antioxidants, and because it is a natural moisturizer you needn't rinse it off after use. Simply massage the oil into your stretch marks. Consider warming the oil slightly to improve blood circulation to your skin

Keeping hydrated will also help prevent new stretch marks from forming.  Specific instructions vary, but consider drinking up to ten glasses of water daily to keep your skin hydrated and minimize the appearance of stretch marks.

All you need to do is soak raw almond in milk until it is soft. Next, crush them to smooth paste and blend raw milk with the paste. Blend well and gently apply onto the area. Leave it to dry and then rinse it with plain water. Apply almond oil at bedtime so that your skin gets sufficient time to absorb it. Daily application will fade your stretch marks to a large extent.

To get rid of stretch marks on buttocks and hips naturally: lie on your back flat, and relax for a few minutes. One you are relaxed, proceed to lift one leg and create a ninety-degree angle. You should continue lifting your leg until you feel a lift on your left buttock. Do the same for the other leg

To get rid of stretch marks on your bottom you will be required to lie down and face the floor gently. Place both arms on the sides, and lift your left leg up and down. Do the same for the right leg. To achieve the best results, you should practice twenty lifts for each exercise at least three times a week.
Petroleum Jelly , Vaseline, or petroleum jelly will not make your stretch marks go away, but it does help in healing the skin as the stretch marks start to fade away. The jelly will help your skin by locking in moisture—the moisture is needed to maintain the elasticity of your skin. When your skin is too dry, it means that the cells are unable to draw in moisture, and this means that they start losing their strength, before eventually losing their structure.

Stretch marks are technically very challenging to remove, but not impossible to remove with a laser. The lines are a form of scar in the areas, which have lost collagen within the deeper dermis layer.
This is a simple procedure performed to remove all the dead skin cells from the skins top layer. When done correctly, it can lead to hyperpigmentation improvement as well as the texture of the skin over time. The procedure is mainly used to refresh the skin and provide it with a new glow.
